JIMMY RAE - return of a lost songwriter


     Wirral-based singer songwriter Jimmy Rae made a long overdue      return to the North West live music scene in the summer of 2005.

     As a founder member of critically acclaimed 80’s duo
     The Reverb Brothers, Jimmy toured extensively throughout
     the UK and Europe with acts as diverse as OMD and
     Joe Jackson as well as enjoying international airplay with three      releases for RCA Records.

     He quit the music business in 1986 but has recently returned to the
     recording studio for the first time in almost 20 years and will be
     releasing his first solo album in 2008.

     Jimmy’s distinctive songs of love, loss and loneliness draw on folk,      country and blues influences with echoes of Lennon & McCartney.
